Come
on in, pull up a chair and stay awhile. If this is your first visit feel free to explore. I promise there
aren't any booby traps. And all the bad guys are locked away in my head waiting for me to turn them lose in
my next novel.
If
you aren't familiar with my work then please read an except of my last novel, EVERY SKULL TELLS A STORY, and the reviews
page with comments from some of my readers.
Most
of my writing consists of Inspirational Romantic Suspense, having been influenced by authors such as: Iris Johansen,
Sue Grafton and Dee Henderson. My heroines are usually strong willed, witty, and often very opinionated, which usually gets
them into some precarious situations. A suspense junkie myself, my ultimate goal in every story is to have the reader so engrossed
they don't want to put the book down until the end.

What's New (from my blog)
I just signed my third book contract last week. As most of you know Every Skull Tells
a Story was published two years ago. The prequel, Escape from the Darkness will be out in October, and now Ties That Bind
in early 2010.
It has been a long road for Ties That Bind to get to this point. The publisher had the manuscript well
over a year before making the decision to offer me a contract. Back in August, after several months of waiting, they wrote
and told me that they liked the book but that they no longer publish Romantic Suspense and said they had a new imprint
where they thought it would be a good fit and asked if they could keep it a bit longer. What could I say? So, after another
7 or 8 months, I finally received word that I’d made the cut. Needless to say I’ve been on cloud nine since I
got the news. Back to back publication - how cool is that?
Since I know I’ll be diving into the editing
process soon, I’ve been working hard on my newest manuscript which I started about three weeks ago, knowing I’ll
have to put it aside to work with the editor on Ties That Bind. This has been a great year as far as inspiration goes. Last
November I started one and by New Years I had the first draft done. Then I finished one I had started before that one and
wrapped it up about a month ago. It seems like I just finish one and bang another one moves into my head. Hey I’m not
complaining. I’d rather have too many ideas floating around in my head than none at all.
Hope all is well with
everyone. Stay safe and be blessed my friends!
